Thank You Notes

This blog post by Lindsay Pollak provided a good reminder as you head off for Thanksgiving plans, and the gentle reminder that you never know where a conversation, connection, or network might take you -- following up with thank you notes! Taking the time to thank someone for their time and insight is huge -- it means a lot to the person.  It also demonstrates that the sender understands that time is money, especially for attorneys, so develop the habit of dropping a quick email and occasionally writing out a full note to those that give you their time, expertise, connections, and even their talent.
