Etiquette Tip of the Week: VIP Groupie

If you are in charge of the VIP at an event, keep an eye on the VIP throughout the event and make sure he or she is not cornered by a new, unwanted friend who is hogging his or her time. If this happens, you must dive in and rescue the VIP...er, I mean... politely intervene.

Alliance for Women Gift Card Collection Drive: Help the AFW's Domestic Violence Task Force & Advocacy Subcommittee to empower survivors of domestic violence receiving shelter at Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC) this holiday season. Small-denomination gift cards for stores such as Target, Jewel, or CVS - for just $10, $20, or $25 - enable CAWC's clients to buy what they might not have taken when they fled a violent situation: clothes to wear to work, shampoo, or diapers for their children.
