Did you miss LCS Orientation this Fall? Just a reminder that ALL Students are required to attend a LCS Orientation or watch the LCS Orientation Video (and complete the related Quiz) to utilize all LCS Resources including individual advising appointments and access to Symplicity. The Video can be checked out of the LCS Library or watched through iTunes (see instructions below).
In order to have access to DePaul University College of Law Career Services, you must watch the 1L Orientation (parts 1-5) video series and successfully complete the quiz. The videos can be found on DePaul’s public iTunes U account. Access iTunes U through the iTunes store. Under the iTunes U quick links, click on Universities and Colleges. When you find DePaul University, go to the Social Science page. Find the Law Career Services – 2011 Programs page, which is located near the bottom of the Social Science page. You can also click this link: http://itunes.apple.com/itunes-u/law-career-services-2011-programs/id431739683. The videos are numbers 15-19.
You are encouraged to have this quiz open as you are viewing the tutorial. The quiz can be found here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LCSOrientationVideoQuiz. The quiz will be checked every two weeks, but when you complete the quiz, email Elizabeth Boe at eboe@depaul.edu to let her know that you have completed it. You will then be granted access to Symplicity.
*If you are having issues watching the LCS 1L Orientation in iTunes U, make sure that you have upgraded to the most recent version of iTunes. Also, make sure that the Orientation videos have downloaded completely before you begin to watch them.
