Young Lawyers Section Voter Registration Drive - September 12
With the presidential election just months away, the YLS is teaming up with The League of Women Voters of Chicago for a Voter Registration Drive on September 12, 2012. The registration drive will take place at CBA Headquarters, located at 321 S Plymouth Ct., from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. CBA members as well as members of the public are welcome. In order to register you must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years or older, and a resident of your precinct at least 30 days prior to Election Day. YLS Team in Race Judicata - September 13
Join the Young Lawyers Section in the 19th Annual Race Judicata 2012 on Thursday, September 13, at 6:30 p.m. Race Judicata is a 5K Run/Walk benefiting Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation. To join the CBA/YLS group, register at http://www.cvls.org/judicata-registration and select “Chicago Bar Association-YLS” under the team drop down menu. The registration fee is $33 through September 7, 2012. September 8th through race day, the cost is $38. There is a $3 off discount for CARA members.
