The Center for Public Interest Law has launched a Public Interest Legal Skill Seminar Series to help students:
- Aquire practical (and transferrable) legal skills
- Network with practicing attorneys
- Recognition witha Certification of Completion
- Build Resume
- Improve Job Prospects
This inaugural series will include a six-part seminar will focus on Mortgage Foreclosure, presented by Professor Kelli Dudley, and the topics will include:
- Client Interview & Initial Interview
- Motion Practice
- Impact on Tennats
- Settlement Otions
- Fair Housing
- Ethical Considerations
The series will be in 703 Lewis from 11:50 a.m. - 12:50 p.m. over six consecutive Mondays from October 8-November 12.
