President Obama's Champions of Change will be honoring 16 lawyers on Thursday, October 13 from a live event at the White House. The Pro Bono & Community Service Initiative, along with the Center for Public Interest Law and Law Career Services will be webcasting this program from 1:00-2:30 p.m. in 341 Lewis. Are you interested in Communication Law? Each year, the American Bar Association Forum on Communications Law awards three full-ride scholarships to students to attend the annual meeting. This year's meeting will be held in February in Orlando, Florida. This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in media and communications law to network with top practitioners from across the country. The Forum will begin accepting applications from law students on October 1st. The deadline to apply is November 7, 2011. Information regarding the application is here.
