The Associate Board of the Just The Beginning Foundation (“JTBF”) invites applications
for Associate Board membership from 1Ls and 2Ls. The membership term will begin in June 2012 and end in May 2013. Interested students should submit a resume and cover letter by April 2, 2012 to Lea Madry, chair of the membership recruitment process, at leamadry@uchicago.edu.
The Associate Board will respond to all applicants by the end of April.
JTBF is an organization of judges, lawyers, and other citizens committed to diversifying the legal profession by creating pipeline programs for students from middle to law school.
The mission of the JTBF Associate Board is to support awareness of JTBF. Comprised of young professionals, attorneys, and law students, the Associate Board strives to encourage a culture of philanthropy in its members and foster investment in the future of JTBF and the students it assists. The Associate Board hosts events to raise funds, encourage volunteerism, and enhance visibility for JTBF and its programs.
