Army JAG Corps Recruiting Changes

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

An update from the Army Judge Advocate Recruiting Office for 2Ls/3Ls/4Ls:

The United States Army JAG Corps will be recruiting at all of the American Bar Association accredited law schools in the Fall--no change.  However due to significant budget restrictions, we will not be interviewing in the Spring.  This decision was made after much careful consideration by the senior leaders of our Corps and is only a decision for the Spring of 2012.  A consequence of our not interviewing on your campus in the Spring means that we will also temporarily suspend our 1L summer intern program.  We ask you to please let your students know that 2Ls will only be able to interview for a summer internship in the fall; and those students who are in their last year of law school (3L Day and 4E) will only be able to interview for a direct commission in the fall.
