Two new education-related fellowships have popped up recently: the Education Pioneers and Broad Residency.
The Education Pioneers posted their position to PSJD for both of their programs: a summer internship and a yearlong fellowship. The description begins:
- Education Pioneers recruits and develops talented business, law, policy, and education graduate students with diverse professional backgrounds and helps them launch high-level education leadership careers through the Graduate School Fellowship. There are two placements for the Graduate School Fellowship - the 10-week summer placement and the yearlong placement.
The applications are due December 12, 2012. More information is available at PSJD (you can create your own account and login) and on the Education Pioneers website.
The Broad Residency also provides the opportunity to work in high-level positions with school districts or charter management organizations. Their recruiters are coming to campus on Monday, October 22, 2012. To register for this event, you will need to RSVP through the University Career Center at depaul.experience.com. The Broad Residency has also requested access to our Resume Books, so please upload your resume as soon as possible through Symplicity. The Broad Residency description begins:
- The Broad Residency is a leadership development program that places qualified participants into full-time high-level managerial positions in school districts, charter management organizations (CMOs) and federal/state departments of education. Residents often lead major projects like opening new schools, managing budgeting processes, increasing operational efficiencies and supporting major policy initiatives.
Associate Director Alisa Rosales is happy to help with either of these applications. Please make an appointment to discuss these, or other fellowships. Just stop by the 3rd Floor Student Services Suite or call to make an appointment (312-362-8385, option 1).
