Grow Your Network: Defining Goals While Seeking Opportunities & Promoting Others Wednesday, February 1, 5:30-8:00pm: 11th Floor DePaul Center: Join DePaul University's ASK Program in collaboration with attorneys Mitchell Goldberg, Lisa Zulanas, Dan Cotter, and LCS' Bonnie Tunick, for this special networking workshop, designed to bring ASK mentors, students, recent graduates, and professionals together for an informal networking training session. The workshop will include a panel discussion on joint networking skills and, after the panel discussion, participants will have an opportunity to receive on-the-spot coaching. Thursday, February 2, 11:45am-12:45pm and 4:15-5:15pm, 903 Lewis: Learn how to work a room, create and retain strategic connections, optimize mock and informational interviews, manage your social media, and more... This program will be helpful for upcoming events such as the DePaul Law Auction (February 3) and Practice Tracks (February 16). Attendance is MANDATORY for the Mock Interview Program (March 5-9). Midwest Public Interest Law Career Conference: Saturday, February 4th: The Midwest Public Interest Law Career Conference (MPILCC) will be held at Northwestern Law School on Saturday, February 4th. The conference is a great way for students to find a public interest job and to learn more about public interest employers. Students may still participate whether or not they previously registered for the Conference. Click for More Info
Marine JAG Corps Visit: Thursday, February 2nd: Recruiters from the Marine JAG Corps will be visiting DePaul on February 2nd to conduct 20 minute informational interviews about the JAG Program. To sign up for a slot please email Elizabeth Boe, Assistant Director of Recruiting eboe depaul.edu with your availability and a copy of your resume or stop by our office. Sign ups end at 1:00pm on February 1st.
DePaul Career Week 2012 is coming up February 19-25, with more than forty events to allow you to network with alumni, learn more about using social media tools in your job search, and learn about student loan repayment options. To learn more and register check out the Career Week website.

When you first log onto Symplicity and are directed yo your profile, please make sure to scroll down completely and fill in ALL Required Fields. These include: your current address, preferred email, program type, and practice areas of interest. If you continue to have problems accessing the system, please call us at 312-632-8385 or stop by the office in 340 O'Malley.
