Alternative Career Advice

Susan Gainen's blog, Pass the Baton, has recently posted several pieces on alternative careers. The two pieces of advice which always stick out in my mind are that an alternate career for a lawyer is a traditional career for someone else and that in-depth self-assessment will provide applicants greater satisfaction as they search.
