Donate-A-Day: Center for Disability & Elder Law
Calling all DePaul Alumni & Students: October 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.--Donate-A-Day with the College of Law's Pro Bono & Community Service Initiative and the Center for Disability and Elder Law and earn CLE credit!Come and join fellow DePaul alumni and law student volunteers for a day of pro bono work at senior citizen residence, Edith Spurlock Sampson Apartments, 2720 N. Sheffield, Chicago, IL 60614. Volunteer attorneys and students will work in teams to assist senior citizens with advanced directives, such as powers of attorney and living wills. Training (worth 1.5 CLE hours) and lunch will be provided. Please contact Cheryl Price, Director of the Pro Bono &; Community Service Initiative, to RSVP or for more information.

Notifications for interview selections have been emailed to all applicants. Students may continue to register to attend through October 12 (note that registering for the conference is separate from bidding for or accepting interviews -- please see the Registration Guide for more information.) Students who wish to register/attend following this deadline must register onsite for $20. Payment will be accepted by check or credit card only and DePaul will NOT reimburse you if you fail to register before October 12, 2010 through the system by that date. Please note that Law Career Services is charged for your registration regardless of your attendance so please cancel your registration before October 12 if you are no longer attending.

This event is expected to fill up so come early!
