Employment Law Seminar

Law Career Services advertises various Continuing Legal Education and other networking opportunities through the Symplicity events. Look for opportunities similar to this one in Symplicity, the bar association calendars and newsletters, legal blogs, LinkedIn groups, etc.

Sterling Education Services, Inc. is holding a Fundamentals of Employment Law seminar in Bloomington, IL on November 10, 2010 and is offering five law students free scholarship-passes to this seminar. The students get a day-long overview of a particular aspect of the law, a seminar manual, and they also get an opportunity to network with practicing attorneys. This is a win-win situation. Students must register before the seminar via phone or email (NOT online) -- no walk-ins will be allowed. Please see Symplicity for more details.

*Important Note: The scholarship policy requires that recipients provide credit card information at the time of registration to secure their free pass. No charge will be made to the card unless the registrant fails to attend the program and does not notify us three business days in advance. If a scholarship registrant should fail to show up at the program or cancel as described above a $50.00 no-show fee will be charged to the card provided. This policy has been instituted to avoid students securing a free pass and not choosing to use it while other students who would have like to have attended were told the free slots had been filled. Students will be thoroughly reminded of this policy upon registration for the program.
