Still looking for hands-on legal experience this summer? Consider applying for a summer externship with the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) Office of General Counsel. Through the IDHR Legal Fellowship Program, you would be doing the following: (1) performing legal research; (2) drafting/editing administrative code regulations governing the Department’s administrative hearings; (3) conducting administrative hearings as well as analyzing records and drafting/editing decisions for such hearings; and (4) other administrative law-related work. The fellowship requires 15 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks.
NOTE: You must act quickly. You have until Tuesday (June 5, 2012) to get registered for summer Field Placement class credit.
Must be a law student (2L or higher)
