Upcoming CBA Volunteer Opportunities

YLS Coat Drive for Chicago Kids Closet Program Through February 29

The YLS is teaming up with Direct Effect Charities to collect new and gently used winter coats and gear for their Chicago Kids Closet program. New socks and underwear are also being collected. All items collected will be distributed throughout the Chicago Public School system to students in need. Drop off in the CBA Building's lobby at 321 S. Plymouth Ct.
YLS Repack Night at Greater Chicago Food Depository- March 28
Spend an evening serving the community while getting to know other young lawyers! The YLS needs volunteers to work at the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD) on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Volunteers will work on the repacking line inspecting, cleaning, and sorting donated products for distribution to soup kitchens, pantries, and homeless shelters. Volunteers must wear long pants, sleeved shirts and closed shoes with nonskid soles. The GCFD is located on the Southwest side of Chicago (not far from Midway Airport).
