Membership Appreciation Week Wrap Up

Call for Nominations: CBA/CBF Annual Pro Bono and Public Service Awards
The CBA and CBF invite you to submit nominations by May 21, 2012, for the Chicago legal community's prestigious pro bono and public service awards. These awards celebrate exemplary members of the legal profession who have used their talents and resources to improve access to justice for the less fortunate in our community. CBA Launches Mentoring Program - Mentor/Mentees Earn 6 IL PR Credit Hours
In partnership with the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, the CBA proudly announces the implementation of a Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentoring Program. Experienced attorneys (six or more years) will be matched with newly licensed attorneys (admitted 2 years or less) for a year-long mentoring program. Participating mentors and new lawyers will receive 6 hours of professional responsibility CLE credit upon program completion. The program guidelines and applications to be a mentor or mentee are available at
www.chicagobar.org/mentoring. The mentoring program will kick-off with an orientation program on May 31, 2012.
